Joe Paris Appointed Associate Vice President of IT Services and Support

Picture of Joe ParisNorthwestern IT announced today that Joe Paris has been appointed Northwestern IT’s new Associate Vice President of IT Services and Support. Joe has spent nearly 20 years at the University engaging in strategy development, operational leadership, and delivering technology services and user support to researchers, students, faculty, staff, and our many technology partners.

In his recent role as senior director overseeing research computing and technology support services, Joe demonstrated exceptional leadership and vision. He has successfully developed and coordinated high-performing cross-organizational teams and shaped strategies to support the broader Northwestern University community.

His proactive approach to building strong relationships with stakeholders makes him the ideal fit for this position. As the new associate vice president for the IT Services and Support unit, Joe is now responsible for delivering a portfolio of integrated services that support individuals using information technology for research computing, teaching and learning, and University administration.

Joe will lead the unit’s directors and teams in providing these services and support, working with business, academic, and technology leaders across Northwestern to enhance service offerings consistent with Northwestern IT and University priorities.
