Prompt for New Wireless Certificate- August 18

Effective 7 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18, Northwestern IT is updating the University’s wireless network authentication server with a new certificate as part of regularly scheduled maintenance.

The wireless system uses this server to provide secure access to the University’s network.

Impact on the Northwestern Community

As a result of this update, the first time a user attempts to access the eduroam or Northwestern Wireless network on or after August 18, 2021, they will be asked to accept the new certificate before network access is granted.
